This is the first of your videos I've seen. You were recommended to me by a friend on FB. First of all – you are hilarious!!!! I am going to start video and have been laboring over where I will “film”, what I will wear, etc. It is a big deal and we are being judged. That is what social media is all about. Gotta tell ya, after watching this I think my video strategy has changed a little. I may even decide to be “myself”. Imagine that. Oh, yes. About the content. I recently wrote a blog on location tracking software available for Iphones. Blackberry phones are preprogrammed to enable tracking. You have to physically shut it off if you do not want to be “tracked”. It was developed for 911 and emergency situations, but……. I was not one of the ones in a “cafuffle” over privacy with Facebook's Open Graph. I am on Facebook to be found – and YES I am selling and decide carefully what I share. I am not interested however in utilizing Yelp to show people my where-abouts. I think it's creepy and unnecessary.

Hi Chris, Cautionary and witty. Yes, I wondered if the “wicker” chair was a sign of say, cinder block shelves / furniture just out of range from the camera lens. Then I wondered why you were so well-educated and successful? Funny thing about connoisseurs, sometimes only OTHER connoisseurs know about your “identity enhancers”. Foursquare tip: I will no longer refer to my job as “the grind”. I do love my job, anyway. Really. CHEERS and thank you.

I agree to a degree.
In the UK we are very open and free about what we do and share on line (taking privacy in to consideration) and in my opinion if you don't like what I do, where I go and what I buy then I don't want to work for you anyway. I have a great and open relationship with anyone that I work with and I hope to be judged on the quality of my work and the integrity I withhold outside. If I am judged for spending to much time in a fast food joint or spending all weekend living it large then surly that cannot be right. If it was illegal or would compromise the brand then this should be looked at again and then maybe you are employing the wrong person and they are working for the wrong company. I like to have fun and can be found at our local wine bar (The Belvedere in Ascot, Berkshire, England) most days because I am Misses Social and if it was not for my socialising talents I would not have the job I do anyway I agree we need to be careful and I agree you should keep some things for you & your friends i.e like Facebook but we need to be realistic, we are all human beings who work to live not live to work!

I am not too worried about these types of location based services, mostly because if there is one thing that the Facebook back lash has done is really made people think in terms that they really need to watch information they make public. In terms of location based services, it's only going to be a matter of time (I say once a body has been discovered murdered, because some jealous lover – bf/husband whatever, took his stalking obsession way to far) that developers are going to start to retreat and make it easier for people to mask their locations via some sort of proxy spoof technology, obviously now proxies don't work because no one is going to believe that if you hang your hat in Los Angeles, that you can't be somewhere roaming the streets of Moscow Russia (for example). But tunneling is going to come, it has to come because physical safety is going to depend upon it, if not now it will in the future. Thus, if my insurance company (or future employer which I will never have) wants to check where I've been fine, because thanks to tunnel technology, I live 24 hours a day at the nearby Borders bookstore. Good video Chris.
