Nice review Chris, I am pretty sure at the moment Twitter for iPad doesn’t correctly implement the “save state” functionality that other apps (like Twitterrific) has, consider it’s a version 1 app, so I am pretty positive things will be improved soon.
Also with the introduction with iOs 4.2 and (finally) multi-tasking things are gonna get just perfect 🙂
I have written about Twitter for the IPad as well on my blog if you wanna check it out: http://bit.ly/c73Un5
Osfoora is superior to both these apps in my opinion. I like twitterific but the twitter app seems like a waste of screen real-estate and don’t like the popup windows.
Do you really prefer this to TweetDeck and HootSuite? What about using multiple Twitter accounts?

yep too many probs
Great reviews Chris. I will check out twitteriffic. I do have the twitter app and agree with you on that one.
Chris, great review. I have to agree Twitteriffic is a great iPad app. I use it on the phone and ipad when I’m away from the desk. But what I do like to do is bring up Tweetdeck on the iPad and have it next to the computer while I’m working to keep an eye on both the mentions and the timeline.
The keyboard doc for the iPad works well this way. The keyboard doc for the iPad is another great way to write articles while you’re out and about on the iPad without having to bring the laptop.
Really cool
Great post. I think responsiveness is really important when using an app. The user needs to know something is loading or taking place.
Excellent review! Thank you Chris.
