Pretty nice article ! I like it!
Hey Chris, thanks for the cool review. I would like to win one of your licenses so I can make videos to share what I know. This will enable me to give out valuable information and build a business too! So thanks in advance š
Hi Chris, cool review. I will try this over the weekend.
Detlev
I have an earlier version of Camtasia and there is ton of cool things you can do with this.Ā I’d use it more often with the new version, especially narrating powerpoint and taking reformated VHS and old super 8 and adding voice while converting it all to MP4.Ā I have a video of my 2 year old son [now 30+] interviewing a choclolate chip cookie I would love to post on his facebook page! Great program! Thank you Chris.
Great Show. Ā I would like to use the software for training for my volunteer work.
Great review, thanks for sharing. I do love the look of Camtasia. I’d love to win a copy- I plan to create how to videos myself as well as other interesting things that I haven’t thought of yet!
Nice review Chris. There is just one thing that I would like to add, just for your (and others) information. It is actually very possible to record and produce/render in full 1080p HD in Camtasia Studio for those that wish to do so. I actually made a video on this topic very recently for thoseĀ interested:Ā
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vbAvQQsUZSgĀ If I were to receive one of theĀ licenses, I would probably give it away as a gift to a friend of mine who I know wants to get started with sceencasting; it would be most useful to him.Ā Once again Chris, great review.
Thanks Chris, Shared all over, cool software!
Nice!
Nice!
excellent review Chris! this is the program my wife and step daughter need for their business. They are building their business on the internet and have just started doing videos. this will definitely help them streamline their process… thank you again for the review and for seeing another great program!
Very nice review Chris.Ā I used Camtasia briefly (version 4) years ago when I was running a mortgage business.Ā Now I have closed that business and I am focusing on Photography, so getting an updated version of Camtasia Studio would help me get my video marketing going as I lack that aspect in my business right now.
Love the upgrades to Camtasia Studio.Ā I’ve had a brief opportunity to use an earlier version and would love to get my hands on the latest — then I’d have everything I need to start a vblog.Ā Ā š
I need my own Camtasia license to assist my clients (they always need video creation and editing assistance). I really enjoy doing videos and Camtasia rocks!!
i am just starting to put together a pod cast for Ham radio, and need the tools this has,
Nice review Chris.Ā I’m a freelance programmer/developer and Camtasia would be really handy to put together video tutorials and feature highlights of some of my more involved software.Ā Thanks!
I liked the review! I could use this software for School and YouTube. I think I’d mainly use this for YouTube tutorials, but could also use it for my school work too!
I can definitely use this software, It’s superb. Camtasia looks great.
I use Jing for screencasts on the fly, I’d love to upgrade to Camtasia so I could do more.
I once had a Camtasia license, but lost when my HD died and I coulodn’t find the product info. I’d love to get another copy.
It will be cool to have until Youtube comes along with their upgrades that are in the works…
Looks great, I would use it for some client tutorials. Much better than explaining it over the phone!
Hi, Chris – interesting review.
I was aware of Camtasia, but had not paid much attention. Ā It looks super useful, especially the part about converting PP to Youtube video.
Realize luck of the draw will determine who actually receives aĀ licenseĀ – might as well be me:)
Thanks again for sharing this
John
I’ve always been a fan of Camtasia Studio (using it since 2005) .. Did some really amazing stuff with it. I loved Captivate also but I don’t know what is their progress under Adobe.
This software is amazing. I’ve always wanted it for when I share my desktop to showcase other software applications or how to accomplish simple daily tasks on items like social networks.
Thanks for another mission Chris.
Just in case people have forgotten what I look like.
Had the opportunity to try out Camtasia the other day in a training session – very impressive , particularly that auto zoom in to where your cursor goes. I’d really like to spend more time with it but we’re the poor cousins, (ie adult community education sector)… as an e-champion I should be using it to develop short how-to screencasts for teachers to inspire them to use the web2 to develop their teaching resources. (have used other free brands but not impressed with their features – won’t embarrass them here…)
Great info & great mission Chris thanks š
Great stuff Chris.I have been writing articles for years now and have had the need to go video but what when and where? Just talking to Pierrette about it this week and now you offer this Camtasia offer.Would really help our buisness. Thanks

Camtasia is a great program. I have used it on OSX. I’d love to use the newest version. I used it to make video pitches for my start-ups!
Great post, Chris. Ā Love Camtasia.
Chris – I use an open source derivative. Would love to try this version (Windows version)
Getting ready to buy Mac version. Ā Time to wait now.. š
We use Camtasia to do the help videos on our sites (http://myskillsmyfuture.org) and we love it!
I would love to add Camtasia to my podcasting and videocasting tool set. I’ve heard great things, and I’m excited to win a license.
Thank you for this review! Count me in for a Mac license, please!
count me in for a Win7 64bit version.
Count me in on your drawing! I’d love to use Camtasia Studio as a way to create training videos for my peers, partners, and clients.
Count me in. I’ve been meaning to buy this for a while. I love using Jing by the same company for grabbing screen shots on the fly!
Chris, please put my name in the hat. We use it at work and it’s a great product. I’d love to have a personal version to record voiceover on PowerPoint presentations. Windows 7 64-bit. Many thanks for the opportunity and hope all is well. Mike
Thanks for the video! Ā I would love to use this to create videos for my business and online training classes that I am doing ! Ā Thanks for this opportunity!
Stacy
I’ve been reading your blog for a long time, but I think you should stay away from the social commentary as you really don’t get it. Stick to the tech stuff.
Thank you very much! I had alredy checked Camtasia and was unsure if to buy the Mac or the PC version. I want to prepare webinars with Camtasia and video presentations to teach astrology. š

Great review! I see I missed the contest, rats! I use Camtasia Studio professionally but would love to have a copy personally as well. I connected to the Facebook page thanks to this blog post. Keep up the great work, Chris Voss!
I think Camtasia Studio is the perfect product for me to use to create / convert power point to video training sessions for small business owners who need help implementing a defined contribution health plan. (thats what we do at http://www.ywnh.biz) I heard about the tool, but never seen a demo. Thanks
I have used Snagit forever, also a Tech Smith product, and adore it for videos, but can’t edit. Am downloading this now, thanks for the demo!
