Geekbench is reporting the first submission of a benchmark test run using its App on an iPhone 5. At 1601 it’s FASTER than ANY Android on the market! It shows a Dual-Core 1.02GHz ARMv7 processor and 1GB of RAM. The ARMv7 is a high end complex chip structure that give the iPhone its speed.
My Samsung Galaxy S3 averages about 1450 to 1500 on its benchmarking runs (see above pic). With Samsung starting to run attack ads on the new iPhone 5 this week, this must be one of their reasons as people may soon find that the iPhone is faster than it’s hottest phone.
