OMG! Works beautifully and allows me to see at a glance how to sort out who has a higher or lower klout score than me. I’m studying why some people are higher than me and noticing what people are doing whose score is lower than mine too. A great new tool! You keep hitting home runs and I’ll keep showing up with hot dogs, um, I mean, healthy snacks and beer.
Thanks Chris. Klout is another great extension for Chrome that works with New Twitter. Another Twitter ranking system I like is the PeerIndex. Have you looked at that one yet?
Yes I’ve looked at Peer I dont like how they index. Their 8
Resonance categories are an ignorant way to put value on your twitter power.

Brands talk and promote their industry. They dont play to a span of genres.
The measure that Klout does is how powerful and influential that brands
reach is. Thats power. Not someone who’s probably retweeting every story
on CNN all day. I dont listen to Robert Scoble to hear who his medical
insurer is….
Hi there,
Excellent post. Its an interesting thing that there are ways to measure how active you are in social media. Frankly speaking I am fully new to Social media. I only recently created a Facebook page and a Twitter page. Yet I am not using them, practically at all. But from a marketing perspective I imagine that the knowing how active or reputable someones activity in social media is, is probably amazing. But Chris, what are the practical reasons for someone who is not in business to use this score. I just fail to really see what the point is unless someone just really likes to get evaluated.
Great information Chris, gives people the opportunity to see who they’re dealing with Klout-wise! Good stuff! Thanks for encouragement recently too, glad you liked the Social Media satire! Peter
Chris, as always, you provide great information. Being able to have the Klout information will be helpful in reaching a wider audience. Please continue your good work.

Great for anyone who wants inspiration and to learn so much from someone who has done an incredible array of experiences.” -Gary Shapiro, President and CEOConsumer Technology Association, producer of CES®
