**Note: I wanted to add to this, sometimes we are playing in a “game” and WE have assumed the rules inaccurately. In our “games” we should ask ourselves if our rules we’ve taken on are the real rules or are self limiting.

It's thought provoking to consider this angle. Haven't really consider life as a series of different games we're playing…and how and who defined the rules…and are they valid? Thanks!
Rules are made to be questioned. Those who question the rules, or break at least a few on a continual basis are the movers and shakers.
There's a fine balance between sticking to some rules and tossing the game out. I've found myself doing this on more than one occasion. It can be painful because we've invested so much in the game but Big Picture thinkers do it with regularity.
Insightful point too about different rules we adhere to throughout the day.

Actually, no rules and laws are just suggestions. You can do what ever you
want. You can break them if you want – they just come with consequences you
may have to face.
Invented football:
Chris – rules=laws. Behavior based mores=how you act? Two very different realities. Law is not a suggestion- law, especially business law, is a fact- people do get sued and do go to jail- SO- it's sort of important if a person is going to challenge a law/rule they know a little bit in advance about what they're getting into. NOW that being said, when you talk about the game being rigged…well gee whiz, do people who are extremely wealthy put their bucks offshore where they can't be touched by taxation? duh…is the game rigged..well gee whiz…ya think? 😉 Just a word of caution chief- business law does apply to electronic media and if someone isn't careful they can really jack themselves up…
Football? Can't relate! : )
“More like guidelines…actually.”
