Chris you are cutting the edge very fine indeed – are you seeing the web going to strictly phones in a couple of years? Diminishing laptop use and the final push into fully mobile? FourSquare would then be in a perfect place to dominate. I think 4square is going to be bigger just because of the mobile integration. Here in Italy Twitter is still relatively unknown whereas 4sq in growing

Please share how Foursquare can be used for Events.
They already rebuffed an offer to buy by Facebook. I think they are going
all the way based on that.
Location Based Search and Services will indeed be a significant and growing market. FourSquare in their current incarnation will only be credited with helping to get the movement going. They will acquired or swept under the rug by the search engine vendors and perhaps by facebook.
