We got to review the AT&T LG V60 ThinQ, 5G and it’s a pretty extraordinary phone. You can get it at AT&T. Now, if you’ve known me for the past 10 years we’ve been reviewing AT&T phones, and I’ve always loved LG phones, for the most part, LG phones back in the old days when before phones kind of became a kind of a commodity. There was always this leapfrogging you know, iPhone would put out a phone and then Samsung would beat it and then LG would beat it. And then there’s this rotation cycle and LG always for me, put out great phones, they’re always phones with LG I fell in love with.

Now what’s neat about this phone, as you compare to other phones is this is basically a two-screen flip phone. So I think about the only comparison might be the Samsung phone that had the issues and stuff. I know they’ve come up with new ones that are supposed to not have as many problems but the LG is done pretty neat. Because you basically can get that same sort of dual-screen experience without having to worry about the downside Samsung had. And they’ve done a really good job at packaging this making it work and making so you can have dual screens. I love about the fold-out design, it acts as a stand, you can even stand up horizontally or vertically, and be able to watch like a movie or something like that. So if you’re eating some food there at your table or desk whenever you can kind of stand it. Sometimes I just stand on my office desk. So I can see my Twitter flow going by. It has a really cool fingerprint technology that they use that I really like how it works really well on the screen. It’s super blazing fast.

It’s got an incredible camera, we’ll get into some of the details of it. But I’ve been using it now for a couple of months. And I love it. It’s really great. It’s even great on the dual-screen. The front part shows you the LED for the time and notifications you have etc. So It’s a really great phone. So let’s talk about what goes into it.

It comes in one color, what they call a classy blue comes with a capacity of 128 gigabytes. And of course, you can get on the AT&T installation plan or for retail price. Right now the retail on it is 899.99. So, for the price, it’s really competitive and when you consider that you get two screens it’s a pretty nice deal. And it works really well, beautifully designed. It has a great nice loudspeaker. USB-C charging on it. In fact, if you put the case on for the dual-screen, it has a specialized charger that’s magnetic and it just attaches to the bottom and seems to charge the phone faster that way. But either way, it’s a fast charge.

Some of the standout features on this phone on top of having a dual-screen, it’s got a 6.8 inch OLED display 64-megapixel rear camera, 10-megapixel front. 8K video capture and playback 8k. That is awesome. You’re buying a phone that’s gonna work for you for years into the future. A 5000 milliamp-hour battery and the battery lasts really well. It does really well on slow battery burn and charges fast. The size of it is 6.67 inches tall 3.06 in width and .35 in thickness. It’s super thin if you don’t have it in the dual-screen case, what is nice about the dual-screen cases you actually get a case, so you don’t have to buy a case for it. You do have to be a little careful though with the front screen that you see with the time and date and stuff on. You don’t want to be dropping that so you definitely want to be careful Display size is 6.8 inch OLED Cinematic Full Vision screen, the resolution of 2460 by 1080, and 16.7 million colors. On the camera there’s a ton of settings you can have for it: studio time-lapse, study recording, YouTube Live the night view portrait, make my avatar, manual slo-mo, panorama, Live, Photo stickers, auto shot, gesture shot, burst shot timer, quick share and quick video editor.

With the audio playback time, you’re looking at with a speaker time up to 53 hours and with a headset up to 170 hours. Talk time 21 hours in standby up to 24.5 hours and it’s got wireless charging. Fast charging as well, you can fast-charge this up to 100% in about 120 minutes. It’s got a chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 with Octacore. One a 2.8 gigahertz, three at 2.5 gigahertz, and for 1.7 gigahertz, it’s blazing fast. Let me put it that way. Internal wise it’s got 128 gigabytes with expandable memory storage of up to 2 TB put your pictures on that, your gonna need it because this thing does record at 8K, Memory format microSD and 8 gigabytes of RAM with Android 10 version Q. It does really well. What’s even cooler is it runs on 5G so if you’ve got 5G, I think it’s the most areas these days, with AT&T it’s gonna be blazing fast. And you’ll love it.

The only downside that I had issues with on the phone is when you set the camera in the video to the highest resolution the for the 8k and in the highest resolution on the photo camera, it does not save it for some reason you have to go in and change it every time. I don’t know if they do that to save battery power, but I’m hoping that LG pushes a fix to that. Or maybe that’s their intention to have it that way. But it is kind of annoying every time you want to take video and have to go in and tell it to do 8k. I’m sure they’ll fix it in the future. But that’s the only downside I had of it.

I highly recommend it, go out and grab yourself up one today. Think about it this way. I mean, look at the price number one is lower than some of the some of what people are after and you get TWO SCREENS!
