Last night I was at a party and all the women pulled out their phones. They started chatting up Pinterest and sharing pictures. I’ve never seen people so exited about pictures. Its was crazy. Almost like watching chum tossed into a shark tank. The rest of us men where standing around with “so what” looks on our faces, not getting the excitement of any of it. Seeing the thrill and follow lists that the ladies had collected I can see why Pinterest is a hit. Women drive most of the sites traffic and women love to shop. Its traffic is rumored to be a massive 95% women and I can now see why. Pinterest is like a giant mall on your mobile phone. I dont think its going to slow down anytime soon. I never bet against women who want to buy stuff. They make our consumer market economy go around. If you doubt the amazing Pinterest stories you’re hearing (like I did), think again.

I get more traffic from pinterest than search lately…it used to be the other way around. Pinterest is awesome and fun!
10 months later and it’s so easy to see why people generally &, not just women any more are becoming VERY interested in Pinterest. Images have the power to speak far more directly than words PLUS the site itself is so user friendly.
