Never say Never? Human existence is filled with people overcoming expectations and previously self-limiting paradigms of belief. Whole generations of people can believe something is impossible until one person breaks through and proves them wrong. When you look at your own life and belief systems ask yourself which one of them are likely wrong and what could you do if you where not limited by them. People overcome extraordinary obstacles everyday. Why not you too?
One of my fav quotes of all time is Tom Watson of IBM saying there will never be a need for more than a few computers needed in the world. IBM would have had the jump on Microsoft much earlier if they had decided on a better vision. What incorrect beliefs are limiting you?

Thanks for the reminder Chris. As your examples illustrater, much so-called conventional wisdom turns out to be totally or partially false. Our belief systems can be harmful or tremendous assets.
Thanks Christopher well said!
I love the saying don’t limit your beliefs. I find throught out my life that it was the limitation of my belief system that hindered growth. It took a long time to see happy and to realize my potential as a healer and a mystical advisor. To give myself permission to be what I am created to be and do. Breaking through the traditional training and limited beliefs to the wide open reception of learning from all spiritual beliefs. Taking what I wanted and leaving the rest behind. Listening to the messages not the Messengers. To learn not to come into a new situation carrying the baggage of old beliefs. This was not an easy thing to do. Understanding the same old tapes that play over and over in mind. I have learned to look at my thoughts and life life a movie realizing the past is the past and every day is new. It took much realization to understand I could not think my way into a new way of thinking, I had to act my way into infinite possibilities. And related to this is how IBM misjudged the computer industry in the 80's losing out big time Bill Gates / Microsoft.
Good point your very right!
Kathleen, I'm glad you liked it – Keep up being a success!

I love a world that proves there are endless possibilities… I'm banking on it. Great post. Thanks!
Chris,
The list is amusing, and a little enlightening, but the real point is in your introductory paragraph: Our beliefs can limit our capacity. “what could you do if you where not limited by them? We must examine our beliefs frequently to see which ones might be holding us back.
Nice reminder. Thanks!
a really great reminder, thx … well, lets create a better world 🙂
